Northborough – The Northboro Area Community Chorus’ (NACC) annual Christmas Concert was fortunate to have members of St. Marys’ Parish Children’s Choir as part of its holiday program. Jan Cappella, the director of the children’s choir and an alto in the NACC, along with chorus soprano Kristin DeFosse, prepared the children.

In addition, children and grandchildren of chorus members were part of the Nativity. The Baby Jesus was portrayed by James Brosnaham, grandchild of chorus member Pat Ainsleigh. The Virgin Mary was played by Katherine DeFosse. As an infant, Katherine was Baby Jesus back in the 2005 Christmas concert.

The 47th Spring Concert, scheduled for Sunday, May 6, will be the final directorial performance of Anthony Volpe, founder and director of the chorus. The concert promises to be memorable and entertaining, including the favorite and most beautiful pieces of these past 46 years.

New and past members are welcome to join. Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St., Northborough. For more information, call 774-249-2497 or visit at www.nacc.net or on Facebook.
