Adrian FeeleyMarlborough – Adrian M. Feeley, 82, of Marlborough and formerly of Hudson, died peacefully while surrounded by his loving family Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at Marlborough Hills Health Care after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary P. (Giugno) Feeley for the past 58 years.

Adrian was born in Newton, raised in Waltham, and was the son of the late Francis A. and Gertrude V. (Boudrot) Feeley, and was a 1954 graduate of Waltham High School, later attending Fitchburg State University. In 1969 he moved to Hudson where he and his family lived until moving to Marlborough in 1994. He was a United States Air Force veteran, after being honorably discharged, he was called back to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He was a Materials Manager for Raytheon in Bedford for 39 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Matthias Parish, and a gifted artist. He proudly worked for the City of Marlborough as an Election Inspector for many years.

Adrian  enjoyed gardening, travelling and the Red Sox. More than anything, he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, gentle, quiet man who would always stop what he was doing to listen to or help others.

In addition to his wife Mary, he leaves three sons, Mark S. Feeley of Marlborough, Robert F. Feeley and his wife Lauren of Ayer, and James M. Feeley of Hudson; he was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Mills of Tyngsborough, in 2015; three brothers, Donald Feeley of Riverside, Calif., Kenneth Feeley of Falmouth, and David Feeley of Marlborough; a sister, Jane Cotton of Waltham; he was predeceased by his brother, Francis Feeley of Waltham; seven grandchildren, Brianna, Benjamin, Hannah, James Jr., Daniel, Christopher and Sarah; and many nephews and nieces.

A special note of thanks to the kind and compassionate staff at Marlborough Hills Health Care Center, especially North 2 and North 3, for the loving care they gave Adrian in his final years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m., in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Burial with military honors will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 5-8 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.
