Northborough – Marguerite E. Peaslee Elementary School’s fifth graders will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast and a Used Book & Game Sale Saturday, Feb. 10, at the school, 31 Maple St., Northborough. Proceeds from the event will help defray the cost of their upcoming Nature’s Classroom Trip.
Nature’s Classroom is a three-day, two-night environmental education program with an emphasis on scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Students participate in hands-on activities, which enhance classroom curriculum.
The Pancake Breakfast will be from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., and tickets are $5. The Used Book & Game Sale will be from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., with most items priced at $2 each. Only cash or checks will be accepted. Story time, featuring retired school librarian Nancy Kellner, will be held throughout the morning.
