Marlborough basketball tops Algonquin

Northborough – The Marlborough High School boys’ basketball team defeated Algonquin Regional High School by a score of 66-54 in a game played Feb. 2.

Four Marlborough players scored double digits, led by Chris Doherty with 16 points.  Kevin Short scored 13, while Stephen DiGregorio and Angel Strange both scored 10.  Algonquin’s Brian Duffy was the game’s top scorer with 20 points and Kyle Henderson scored 15.

Marlborough improves to 13-2 with the win, while Algonquin falls to 11-4.
