Shrewsbury – Valerie Gordon, a herpetologist with Rainforest Reptile Shows, Inc. in Beverly recently visited the Shrewsbury Public Library for a special presentation. But she did not come alone – she was accompanied by “Saphira,” the Tegu lizard; “George,” the tortoise; “Tulip,” the snake; and “Peanut,” the alligator.
After learning some facts about their unique guests, brave kids were allowed to see them up close and have their photos taken with them.
The program was presented in conjunction with the Shrewsbury Garden Club and the
Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library.
