Priscilla SaligaHudson – Priscilla “Pat” (Keenan) Saliga, 84, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald F. Saliga.

Pat was born in Boston, a daughter of the late John and Maryann (Dufrense) Keenan. She grew up in Bedford, and graduated from Lexington High School. She went on to earn her nursing degree and worked as a nurse for some time. She later married the love of her life, Donald Saliga and together they eventually moved to Hudson where she has resided for the past 52 years.

Pat’s life was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, she was a former member of Christ the King Church and later at Saint Michael Parish in Hudson, where she served as an Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Ladies Sodality. Pat took Christ as her example and lived to reflect Philippians 2, “in humility value others above yourself.” Thus she lived happily serving the Church, her family, friends, the homeless and the community as an RN. Above all else she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to caring for her family.

Amongst her many survivors, she leaves behind her nine children, Michael P. Saliga of Hudson, Mark A. Saliga and his wife Linda of Marlborough, Mary-Ellen Sherman and her husband Steve of Hudson, Brian R. Saliga of Hudson, Patrick J. Saliga and his wife Jill of Hudson, John K. Saliga and his wife Nya of Hudson, Glenn T. Saliga and his wife Zoi of Charlotte, N.C., Paul M. Saliga and his wife Paula of Hudson, and Sandy Woodin and her husband Richard of Stafford Springs, Conn.; 24 grandchildren, Angela, William, Lauren, Jesse, Nicole, Kristen, Devon, Keenan, Joshua, Ryan, Tianna, Zeke, Erin, Elizabeth, Luke, Catherine, Taylar, Josie, Christopher, Kate, Jaiden, Jason, Bailey, and Kelly; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 13 at Saint Michael Parish of Hudson, with interment at Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Pat’s name to Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA 01749.
