Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Trails Committee invites you to come out for wintery (with or without snow) family fun on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Lake Street Park. At 10:15 a.m. take a wildlife tracking walk with local expert Bob Moore. Drop in from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enjoy hot cocoa and s’mores around the fire; explore the Park’s trails with your own snowshoes and cross-country skis; try a little snow sculpture; see Boy Scout created “dog” sleds; and more. The event is free but the Committee is accepting cash donations toward purchase of a gas, walk-behind string trimmer-mower and other trails maintenance supplies.
