Judith E. LoganShrewsbury – Judith E. “Judy” (Kallio) Logan, 82, a longtime resident of Shrewsbury, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at the Coleman House in Northborough. She was the wife of 57 years to the late Robert “Bob” N. Logan Sr.

Born in Worcester and raised in Shrewsbury, Judy was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School.

She, along with her husband Bob, owned and operated the Appliance Repair Center on Park Avenue in Worcester for many years.

The family would like to thank the Coleman House and JHC Hospice for their loving care and support for Judy.

Judy is survived by her children, Robert N. Logan Jr and his wife Laurie of Millbury and her daughter Roberta Logan of Maine. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Logan and his wife Lisa, Mike and Nick Gordon, Steve and Mike Jacobson, and John Logan Jr; her great-grandchildren, Lydia and Owen Logan; her extended grandchildren, Cassie, Emma and Vera Van Beekom, and Alycia Gemma; and many other great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Dorothy A. Logan, Nancy T. Logan, Catherine Fiske, and John E. Logan Sr.

Family and friends will celebrate Judy’s life Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 4-7 p.m., at the Chiampa Funeral Home 〜 The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, on the Common, Shrewsbury Center. Funeral services for Judy will be held Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd., Shrewsbury. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to an animal shelter of your choice.
