March is colorectal cancer awareness monthRegion – Roll for Cancer is a nonprofit organization that conducts fundraising events in order to raise funds for the support of research, treatment, education and patient services for patients with colorectal cancer. Their mission is to bring together healthcare professionals and members of the community to increase awareness of colorectal cancer and the impact it has on our lives and in society today.

Colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer in the United States, affecting approximately 150,000 people annually. Together, with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Roll for Cancer provides adults and children with cancer the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research and development.
