Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Public Library helped local students celebrate the February vacation week by hosting “STEAMPUNK”!
On Feb. 23, Dan Barbour, young adult librarian, organized a puppet manipulation workshop for teens to learn how to use puppets.
Tanglewood puppeteers Peter Schaefer and Jenn Hofmesiter worked with the teens to learn how to manipulate the puppets to walk, sit, skip and many other fun things.
Then, that evening Schaefer and Hofmesiter performed to a full house the captivating story of “An Arabian Adventure”.
The events were sponsored by Shrewsbury Federal Credit Union.
