Marlborough boys’ basketball moves on to finals after defeating Milford

Worcester – The number one seed Marlborough High School boys’ basketball team defeated the number five seed Milford High School March 6 in the Central Mass Division 2 semifinals in a game played in the Harrington Auditorium on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute campus.

The game could have gone either way with the first quarter coming to a close with the score Marlborough, 14 and Milford, 13. But Marlborough pulled  ahead in the second quarter and never looked back, with the final score 67 to 41.

The Panthers now advance to the Division 2 finals Saturday, March 10 against Shepherd Hill.
