Brian K. KelleyGrafton – Brian K. Kelley, 53, passed away after a sudden illness at home Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Kelley and his fiancé Maura Macormack, Hannah (Kelley) Whitner and her husband Dennis, and Daniel Kelley; his parents, Joanne (Semeter) and George K. Kelley; his brothers, Michael L. Kelley and his wife Kimberly and Kevin B. Kelley and his wife Stephanie; his granddaughter, Emery A. Whitner; his former wife, Joyce Kelley; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was born March 24, 1964 in Brockton, and grew up in West Bridgewater. He was an accomplished athlete in high school playing football and running track, and the passion for activity never left him as he was an avid runner with a running group in Hopkinton and loved to compete in Tough Mudder and Spartan Races.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in the Honors program at the University of Massachusetts and spent many years working in the software industry both as an engineer, but primarily in sales where he achieved his greatest success.

Away from work he adored his children and granddaughter, was a voracious reader, and loved the town of Grafton.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Brian with a memorial donation to St. Jude’s Hospital at www.StJude.org.

All are welcome to gather with Brian’s family Sunday, March 18, from 3-6 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A prayer service will be held for Brian Monday, March 19, at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. He will then be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton.
