Grafton – The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office released this statement this afternoon:
The State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the unattended death of a young woman whose body was discovered before 7 a.m. today on the westbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike near mile marker 99.4. The area is beneath the North Street overpass in Grafton. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will determine the cause and manner of death. The decedent will not be identified at this time. No other information will be released.
