Northborough – One of Craftworks’ initiatives for 2018 is a monthly charity knit program. In January, over 100 hats for preemies and infants went donated to the American Heart Association. In February, over 50 hats and scarves were donated to the St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Worcester.
The Thursday, April 5 workshop, open to all knitters and crocheters, will make purple hats for the child abuse awareness group Period of Purple Crying. Recipients of these hats will be A Child’s Light, Inc.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The cost is $5.
