Shrewsbury – For Shrewsbury residents that participate in the Pay as You Throw (PAYT) program, leaves, grass, and small bundled branches will be collected on the regular rubbish collection day during the following weeks: April 9–13, April 23-27, and May 7-11.
Yard waste must be in the 30 gallon paper lawn and leaf bags and lined up at the curb by 7 a.m. Small bundled branches will also be collected if: they are no larger than 3 inches in diameter; cut into 4-foot lengths; and securely tied into bundles.
Bags must be able to be lifted waist high. Do not over-fill bags; they must be able to close. Do not set the bags out before the morning of rubbish collection.
