Loa "Joyce" LargeyHudson – Loa “Joyce” Largey, of Hudson, has passed Saturday, April 14, 2018 in West Boylston where she had been living at the Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center.

She was born in Sept. 24, 1923 in Oregon, the daughter of the late Ernest and Faye Phillips. She grew up in Oregon and at a young age joined the United States Marine Corps. Throughout her years of living in Hudson, she raised her family of 14 children.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Sheila, Elaine, Kathleen, Maureen, Anne, Colleen, Julie, and Mary, and her sons, Mark, Michael, Patrick, Daniel, Steven, and Robert, as well as her sister, Delores Wilson. In addition to her children, she leaves 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Mark A Largey.

Joyce spent many years working in the office of Boyd Coating of Hudson.

Family and friends may attend calling hours Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to12 p.m., at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). A service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Burial services will follow at the Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
