Hudson – The Assabet Valley Camera Club (AVCC) will host Eric Vickery, a Massachusetts-based adventure and travel photographer, at its meeting Wednesday, May 2. Vickery will share his passion for the outdoors and the environment by presenting a multi-media show on the incredible beauty of Iceland and Greenland as well as the global importance of these Arctic regions.
Vickery, an active member in the Camera Club of Central New England, has presented this program in his native town of Lunenburg as well as other locations in Central Massachusetts. To see his work, visit vickeryphoto.com.
The presentation is free and open to the general public. AVCC welcomes anyone interested in learning more about photography as a visual art and its practical application as a science. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month from September through early June in the Great Room at the Hudson Senior Center, 29 Church Street.
