Region – Cornerstone Bank recently announced its recent donation of $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass./Metrowest, Inc. in support of the organization’s youth mentoring program.

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest is to provide underserved children with a positive one-to-one adult mentor relationship. These children often face adversity in the community, and the support each child receives from their adult mentor helps them grow into successful citizens. This donation will go toward the hiring and training needs of the program staff, including the recruitment and selection of youth mentors. The funds will also support the ongoing needs of the mentors and help maintain the programs offered.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped to positively transform the lives of so many children and adolescents in our communities,” said President and Treasurer of Cornerstone Bank Todd M. Tallman. “We’re proud to support their mission and help them continue to provide crucial services to our underserved youth.”
