Shrewsbury – Richard Paul Hoyer will be presenting a slide show of his work Monday, May 7, at a meeting of the Artist Guild of Shrewsbury. It will be held in the Community Room at Southgate Living Center, 30 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury, at 7 p.m.
Hoyer is a photographer, lecturer, and fine art printer. He works in black and white, with film and digital, producing photographs for exhibition and publication. He teaches photography and digital media art classes at the Paier College of Art, Manchester Community College, and the Worcester Art Museum. He currently lives and works in Glastonbury, Conn. Common everyday objects and subjects are of particular interest.
