Grafton – The Grafton High School softball team took on undefeated Wachusett Regional Saturday, May 12 in a matchup of two of the areas best teams. Unfortunately, for Grafton, it was the visitors headed home with an 8-4 win over the Indians.
Grafton pitcher Jess Evans struck out 13 in a complete game effort. She also had 3 hits, including a double, in the game. This was only Grafton’s second loss of the season, who now hold an overall 11-2 record. Wachusett remains undefeated at 11-0.
