Malcolmeen JusseaumeMarlborough – Malcolmeen “Mal” Jusseaume, 80, of Marlborough, died early Wednesday morning, May 16, 2018, at home, surrounded by her three children, Joanne, Susan and Robbie.

Mal was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary A. (MacLean) Graves of Framingham and the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Jusseaume, who died Jan. 2, 2018.

Mal grew up in Framingham and was a graduate of Our Lady High School in Newton before entering business school where her concentration was in the medical assisting field.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed her work with Dr. Goodman in Framingham, which led to her meeting the love of her life, Bob. Theirs was a fairy tale romance which lasted their entire lives. Together they created a family which was their first priority.

After starting their family, Mal chose to stay home and raise her children, volunteering in their school and sports events and was seen every season as “Team Mom,” on the field complete with oranges and water for all the kids, for one of her own children’s teams. As life moved on and her grandchildren started to arrive, the joy she felt shone through her beautiful smile. She loved each and every one of them so much, as she did those who came into her life later, siblings of her own grands. Mal would emanate a radiance which made people feel that they were family, biologically or not.

After her children had grown, she spent many years working in the Marlborough School Department, several of those under the direction of John Hanley, Principal at Jaworek School. Years later, she moved from the school department and was gainfully employed with Dr. Monika Berg’s office in Framingham, back to her roots in the Medical assistance field. She retired in the late ’90s and was able to spend those years with her friends and family, attending school events of her grandchildren, vacationing and enjoying day trips and time at home with the family she loved so much.

Mal is survived by her son, Robert J. Jusseaume Jr. and his fiancé, Nikki Paul of Marlborough, and her daughters Joanne Jusseaume of Townsend and Susan Ledoux of Marlborough, with whom she resided and was cared for until her passing. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Ledoux of Sturbridge, Matthew Ledoux of Marlborough, Michelle Johnston of Townsend, Danielle and Joey Jusseaume of Sterling, as well as Jessica, Shelby, Shana and Dominic of Marlborough. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Regina (Graves) Porcello and her husband George of Holliston, and her beloved nieces, Mary Jo Porcello of West Roxbury and Lisa and Jessica St. George of Holliston, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 22, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beach Street, Marlborough.
