Esther Folks

Hudson – On May 12, the First Federated church of Hudson hosted a Mad Hatter’s Tea as part of the church’s 100th anniversary celebrations. Over 70 guests were treated to a variety of teas, sandwiches, scones, and many other treats. An award for the prettiest hat was presented to Esther Folks, who was also the oldest guest there, at the age of 99. In attendance were also the “Red Hat Ladies” and while the guests listened to piano music, they were served by four gentlemen, Cliff Patrick, Fred Drew, Paul Yacknick and Martin O’Sullivan.
