Arline Harrington-StottMarlborough – Arline Jean (Kessler) Harrington-Stott, 82, of Marlborough, passed away at home unexpectedly with loved ones Friday, May 18, 2018.

Arline was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Daniel and Marion V. (Nieb) Kessler. Arline later moved to Medfield with her husband, John Harrington, before they eventually settled in Marlborough in 1961.

Arline worked as a bartender at Maple Lanes in Marlborough and then Manny’s Cafe in Hudson before acquiring a job as a salesperson for Verizon in Marlborough, where she worked for many years and received many awards for her salesmanship before she eventually retired.

Arline was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.

Arline was a member of the First Bible Baptist Church in Maynard. She loved to cook and her delicious meals will be missed by those who knew her. She also enjoyed playing bingo at home on her computer and caring for her beloved dogs.

Arline is survived by her son, Guy Harrington and his wife Debra of Marlborough, and her grandchildren, Sarah Harrington, Jeanne Thibault and her husband Ron, and their children, Athena and Ron; Jennifer Harrington and her children, Tori, Matthew, and Paige; Brenda Citino and her companion Eddy and their children, Andres and Aryanna; Anthony Citino; and Nicole Citino and her children, Daniel, Christopher, and Dominic. Arline is also survived by her sister, Karen Kessler; her nephews, Dennis and Larry Kessler; and her former husband, John Harrington. In addition to her parents Arline was also predeceased by her son, John P. Harrington; her husband, John W. Stott Jr.; and two brothers, George and Lloyd Kessler.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 24, from 4-7 p.m., at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson. A funeral service will be celebrated Friday, May 25, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home, followed by a procession to Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough for interment.
