Hudson – On Monday, July 16, the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest will honor Panera Bread and Greg Tresaloni, regional director of operations at PR Management Corp., a franchisee of Panera Bread, with the Champion Fore Kids Award at the 2018 Kids Classic Golf Tournament.

2018 marks the first year the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest will be awarding the Champion Fore Kids Award, presented to an individual or organization that displays selflessness and commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest and the community.

Since 2008, Panera Bread has been donating to the Kids Classic Golf Tournament and, over the years, employees have participated by playing in the tournament. Panera Bread has also provided funding for the afterschool programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest’s three clubhouses in Framingham, Hudson and Marlborough.
“It has been a pleasure to partner with Greg and Panera Bread for the last decade,” said Fran Hurley, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. “The support that they have shown for the clubs has been tremendous and we are very grateful for their commitment to the youth we serve.”

This year’s golf tournament will take place at Charter Oak Country Club in Hudson. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch on the course provided by Panera Bread of Hudson, followed by a cocktail reception and dinner, sponsored by Ken’s Foods. There will also be the opportunity to participate in raffles, a putting contest and a Hole-in-One contest. Proceeds will support the Club’s quality out-of-school programming that serves over 3,200 local youth each year.
