Hudson – Diplomas were presented to 169 class of 2018 graduates during a spirited ceremony June 3 at the Hudson High School (HHS) Gymnasium.
Principal Brian Reagan described the class as uniquely passionate and credited them for reviving a high level of school spirit. Superintendent Dr. Marco Rodrigues encouraged the graduates to evolve with changes while focusing on what’s important to them.
Class President Hanna Sanford expressed her appreciation for the time she spent with classmates. Valedictorian Samantha McLaughlin discussed the value of diversity as demonstrated by the class of 2018. Salutatorian Elizabeth Billings noted confidence that her classmates will have productive futures. Class Vice President A.J. Libby delivered closing remarks and led the graduates as they turned tassels to the other side of their caps.
Music was provided by the HHS Concert Band conducted by Jason Caron, and HHS Camerata, an a cappella group under the direction of Jeannette McLellan.
