Lancaster – Lorraine B. (Alix) Goldman, 87, of Lancaster, and a resident of Hudson for over 50 years, died June 12, 2018 at River Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility. She joins the love of her life and husband of over 60 years, Robert H. Goldman, who passed Feb. 17, 2016.

Lorraine was born of the late Felix and Dolores (Cournoyer) Alix in Spencer. She spent most of her life in Hudson and graduating from St. Michael’s Academy. She was a hairdresser in Maynard and in Hudson retiring from Gayle’s in Hudson.

She was well known for her sense of humor, kind nature and love of social events with her family and friends.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Cheryl White of Clinton, Deborah Quinn of Auburn and Mark Goldman of Hudson; son-in-law Raymond Quinn; two grandchildren, Sean Quinn and Shannon Emilyta, both of Oxford; one great-grandson, Jakob Emilyta of Oxford; a sister-in-law, Theresa (Terry) Perry; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rita Cutter, Gloria Merrick and Margaret (Peggy) Perez.

Family and friends may attend a calling hour Friday, June 15, from 5-7 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central St., Hudson, (www.tighehamilton.com). A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held Saturday, June 16, at 9 a.m., at St. Michael’s Church in Hudson. Burial services will follow at Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
