Northborough/Marlborough – Allen R. “Bobby” Taylor, 80, passed away on Father’s Day, June 17, 2018 in Marlborough Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Marlborough, a son of Allen and Elizabeth (Roche) Taylor, Bobby spent many years driving a truck for Kristoff Transportation and Wright Brothers Transportation. However, he was best known as the proprietor of Bob’s Hot Dogs, serving roadside with a smile and friendly conversation for over 15 years.

He was a proud member of the MA Motorcycle Association and enjoyed being on the road on his Harley.

Bobby leaves his wife of 54 years, Evelyn M. (Giombetti) Taylor; four children, Robert J. Taylor and wife Teri of Ware, David A. Taylor of Northborough, Rhonda J. (Taylor) Grella, and Renee E. Taylor, both of Marlborough; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katlyn V. Taylor, and his brother, John H. Taylor.

After a private graveside service Bobby was quietly laid to rest in Howard Street Cemetery.
