David W. Geever, 75, of  Southborough and Hebron, N.H.Southborough/Hebron, N.H. – David W. Geever, 75, of Southborough and Hebron, N.H., died July 7, 2018 peacefully at his home in Hebron, N.H. after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Newman) Geever for the past 48 years.

David was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. In 1963, he joined the Sheet Metal Union, Local 17 and worked for 39 years in the industry, retiring in 2002 from Worcester Air of Ashland.

David was an avid sport pilot and took pride in his 1960 classic Chris Craft boat. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, snowmobiles and skiing. David also enjoyed being a mentor and father figure to many.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Desautels and her fiancé Philip Ferrecchia of Marlborough, Amey Geever and Devon Geever, both of Southborough; two grandchildren, Julia Desautels and Michael Ferrecchia; a sister, Dorothy Torsey of Florida; his brothers-in-law, Brad Newman and his wife Bonnie of Northborough and Scott Newman and his wife Mindy of SC; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 13, from 4-7 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 14, at 9 a.m., at St Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to Brigham and Women’s Heart and Vascular Center, 116 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02116.
