Shrewsbury – Nancy J. (Culhane) Thompson, 89, of Shrewsbury, peacefully passed away with her family by her side July 18, 2018.
Nancy was born Oct. 13, 1928 in Attleboro to Frank and Julia Culhane. She was the wife of John R. Thompson. She attended North Attleboro High School.
She was a hairdresser in North Attleboro until she and John relocated to New Hampshire in 1980. She most recently resided at the assisted living at Southgate in Shrewsbury.
She was preceded in death by her son, John A. Thompson, and her husband, John R. Thompson.
She is survived by daughter Katherine T. Hatherley and her husband David A.She was the grandmother of Elizabeth J. Murray and her husband Daniel and Janet G. Clay and her husband Bradley, and great-grandmother of Julia B. Murray.
Our family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Southgate in Shrewsbury for their kind and dedicated care of John and Nancy Thompson. Also thanks to JHC Hospice of Worcester and the Worcester Home Agency.
Private graveside services will be held in North Attleboro at a later date.
