Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen set a Special Town Meeting for Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Oak Middle School, 45 Oak St. The primary business that will be conducted pertains to the Beal School project.
“We are generating a comprehensive list of warrant articles and have sufficient business on top of Beal,” said Town Manager Kevin Mizikar. “In addition to the Beal project, but yes, a borrowing authorization is planned for that evening.”
Selectman Maurice DePalo asked whether there would need to be two different ballots. This will be discussed further at the Board’s next meeting, Tuesday, Aug. 14, and voted on at the Tuesday, Aug. 28, meeting.
