Hudson – On July 14, a group of young people, ages 18-30 arrived at the First Federated Church of Hudson, for dinner and sleeping quarters.
This group started bicycling from Florida to spread awareness about affordable housing. They stop along the way to help with building projects. Besides the affordable housing awareness, they are also trying to spread the word to stop distracted driving. Towns having been hosting the group with lodging as they make their journey which will end in Canada. There was much enthusiasm generated by the youngsters. So far their journey has raised $92,410 toward their $100,000 goal.
