Julia J. SedoreHudson – Julia J. (Schiappa) Sedore, 83, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Aug. 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough after a period of declining health.

Julia was born in Marlborough, one of seven children of the late Nicholas and Caroline (Mancini) Schiappa. She was raised in Hudson, where she graduated from high school and lived her entire life. Julia worked for Hendries Frozen Food in Southborough as an Office Administrator for many years before eventually retiring.

Julia enjoyed dining out, going shopping and spending time at the ocean. True to her Italian heritage, Julia was an excellent cook, who always made sure her guests never left her home hungry.

Amongst her many heartbroken survivors, Julia leaves behind her two children, Mary Beth E. Caragian and her husband Steven of Hudson and Steven N. Maggi of Hudson; her beloved companion, John L. Chaisson of Hudson; five siblings, Jean Graves and her husband Jack, Antoinette Bishop, Margaret Murphy and her husband Donald, Gilbert Schiappa, and Michael Schiappa and his wife Daughn; two grandchildren, Sarah Caragian and Christen Caragian; her beloved cat, Benny; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, James Sedore, and her brother, Nicholas Schiappa.

Her funeral service was held Aug. 5 at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home of Hudson, with interment at Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.
