Hudson – The Hudson Youth Substance Abuse Prevention (HYSAP) coalition will host a yard sale fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Argeo R. Cellucci Jr. Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest parking lot, 21 Church St. in Hudson.
Proceeds will help support the coalition’s programs aimed at preventing underage alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, opioid and other drug use. Some funds will go toward the printing costs of a resource guide for substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services throughout the Metrowest region.
HYSAP is requesting donations of items to sell at the yard sale such as clothes, electronics, books, DVDs and Blu-ray movies, small furniture and knick-knacks. Donated items will be accepted and stored beginning the day after Labor Day, Tuesday, Sept. 4. Receiving donations in advance will give volunteers time to organize and price the items.
