Grafton – Apple Tree Arts presents one of America’s greatest singer-songwriters, Tom Rush, in concert Friday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m., at the Great Hall, One Grafton Common. An acclaimed international folk artist, Rush’s music has influenced generations of artists from the folk revival in the ‘60s to the renaissance of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Tom Rush in Concert is the inaugural concert of the Grafton Performing Arts Series presented in the intimate venue of the Great Hall.

His hits such as “No Regrets,” “Circle Game,” “Remember Song,” “Urge for Going,” and “Merrimack County” thrill audiences worldwide. A gifted musician and performer Tom’s concerts offer a musical celebration filled with his distinctive guitar playing, wry humor and warm, expressive voice.

Joining Rush on piano and guitar is singer-songwriter Matt Nakoa. This musical celebration debuts the Grafton Performing Art Series, signature concerts to be presented at the beautifully renovated performance arts center, the Great Hall. Three Claflin Hill-Apple Tree Arts chamber music concerts and additional musical performances are planned for the 2018-2019 concert season.
