Northborough – June J. (Walls) LaMier, 80, of Northborough, and formerly of Shrewsbury, passed Sept. 3, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. June was the wife of the late Ralph C. LaMier, and was also predeceased by her son, Wayde R. LaMier.
She is survived by her children, Darlene Cataloni and her husband Ernest of Foxboro, Cynthia Dupass and her late husband James of Scituate, Robyn Liburdi and her husband Joseph of Princeton, Kevin LaMier and his wife Teresa of Jefferson City, Tenn., Wendy LaMier and her husband Steven Boyle of Sterling, and Tabatha Mello and her husband Jonathan of Cranston, R.I.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
June was born and raised in Holyoke. She graduated from Mount Ida College with an Associate’s degree in business. She worked for the Town of Shrewsbury, retiring from the Fire Department as the administrative assistant, a job she loved.
June was a kind loving mother to so many; she and her late husband Ralph welcomed many foster children into their home and their hearts.
Calling hours will be Friday, Sept. 7, from 4-7 p.m., Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. A funeral service honoring June’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 9:30 a.m., at the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury.
