John Robinson Clark III1942 – 2018

Hudson – John Robinson Clark III, 76, also known as Doboy or Clarky, passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 10, 2018 at his home in Hudson.

John was the son of Kenneth “Pat” Clark and Catherine (Kerrigan) Clark, who were also longtime residents of Hudson. John went to Hudson High School, where he was a 4 Star Athlete Captain of his football, basketball, and baseball teams. After high school, he went on to attend the University of Massachusetts in Amherst on a football scholarship. In 2009, John and his father Kenneth were both inducted into the Hudson High School Hall of Fame.

John worked at General Motors in Framingham for 30 years.

Following his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, trips to the ocean, playing poker, cookouts and getting together with friends and family to watch the Patriots and Red Sox games. He never missed a golf tournament, either.

John loved to make people laugh more than anything, and always had a joke to tell or some kind of trivia question to entertain. He was a loving person who lit up the room with his presence.

John was dearly loved and is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Clark Labier and Gaige Clark; his wife, Bonnie (Schuck) Clark; grandchildren, Raychel Ferrera Hudson, Nycole Ferrera, Samantha (Labier) Martin husband Craig, and Hailey Labier; great-grandchildren, Ashton McNamara, Brayden and Cristiano Ferrera, Isybella Hudson. Sister Jane (Clark) Duffy from Sterling; nephew, Terry Duffy; and nieces, Kathy (Duffy) White, Susan (Duffy) Berger, and Mary (Duffy) Seaver.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 14, from 4-7 p.m., at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. His funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by a reception at the Hudson Elks Lodge, 99 Park St., Hudson.
