Shrewsbury – Judith M. “Judy” (Driscoll) Cote, 73, a lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, died Sept. 16, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of 50 years to Robert F. “Bob” Cote of Shrewsbury.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mastro) Driscoll.
She was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, class of 1963.
Judy had a heart of gold and an infectious smile and laugh that made others feel good. She always put other people first before thinking of herself.
Judy loved her home and family, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren, sisters, and nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Bob, she is survived by her children, Amy Raymond and her husband Ronald Jr. of Rutland, Joel Cote and his wife Susan of Chelmsford, and Robert “Bobby” Cote and his wife Molly of Lake Forest, Calif. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Caitlyn and Emily Raymond and Ryan and Ashley Cote; three siblings, Mary Lou Brisson, Barbara Greenwood, and John Driscoll, all of Shrewsbury; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will celebrate Judy’s life Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 4-7 p.m., at the Chiampa Funeral Home 〜 The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, on the Common, Shrewsbury Center. The funeral for Judy will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Tpke., Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
