MARLBOROUGH – The Marlborough Panthers shut down the visiting Algonquin Regional Tomahawks with a 28-0 win in a game played Friday evening, September 14 at Kelleher Field.

Steve DiGregorio, JJ Jarmman, Lou Vigeant and Richie Webber each rushed for touchdowns in the win. Lou Vigeant ran for 170 yards and the Marlborough defense held Algonquin to just 106 total yards.

Marlborough, now 2-0 on the season, will face Westborough at home next week on Saturday, Sept. 22, while Algonquin, now 1-1, will face Wachusett on Friday, Sept 21.
