Hudson – The First Federated Church of Hudson, 200 Central St., will hold events in September and October.
On Saturday, Sept. 29, from 12-4 p.m., there will be a Wellness Gathering featuring speakers presenting on various aspects of wellness. With so many baby boomers reaching the golden years, a market has arisen to satisfy their needs. There is a demand to know more about aging and how to age in a graceful, healthy way. “The Way to Well” Homeopathic nutritionist, Amanda Turton Huff, will be the key speaker. This is the first Wellness Gathering at the church, and it is planned to be an annual event. This event is opened to all and is free.
On Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the church will hold a craft fair in conjunction with its 100th anniversary celebration. As in years past, there will be food available for lunch, children’s games, and many crafts and items available for purchase. Craft tables are available by calling the church at 978-562-3269. Table prices are $15 without plugs and $20 with a plug.
