Pamela A. BauckmanWorcester/Northborough – Pamela A. (Newman) Bauckman passed away Sept. 25, 2018 after a courageous battle against cancer. She was only 56 years old.

Pam was born March 24, 1962. She attended Northborough public schools, graduating in 1980 from St. Peter Marion High School in Worcester as a member of the National Honor Society.

After graduation, Pam worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years.

She enjoyed perfecting her cooking skills, visiting Hampton and Cape Cod, and teaching CCD, and found enjoyment in watching classic TV shows and movies.

She had a wonderfully sarcastic personality and could be considered lovingly stubborn by those who were lucky enough to know her. She was kind hearted and compassionate to a fault.

Pam is survived by her two sons, Kyle W. Bauckman and his wife Katie of E. Orange, N.J. and Adam M. Bauckman of Worcester; her parents, Harold and Lenora (Nicholson) Newman of Northborough; a sister, Lynda Davis and her husband Andy of Yelm, Wash.; her two grandchildren, Alexander and Charlotte Bauckman, both of whom she loved and adored; and her nieces and nephews. She also leaves her soulmate and companion of over 25 years, Richard J. Smalley of Worcester; a lifelong friend, Jane Barsamian of Worcester, and her extended Smalley family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher.

She made many acquaintances and friends over the 15 years at Fortune Transport, Co. in Worcester as she worked side-by-side with Rich.

Calling hours for Pam will be Sunday, Sept. 30, from 3-5 p.m., at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. Her funeral Mass will be held Monday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m., from St. Rose of Lima Parish, 244 W. Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery. Please wear Pamela’s favorite color, purple, as a way to commemorate Pamela’s kind spirit and love for others.
