Hudson – Catherine Ann Manzo, 92, of Hudson, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, Oct. 11, 2018. She joins her beloved husband, Peter Manzo.
Catherine was born March 22, 1926. She was raised in Dorchester; where she met the love of her life. After he returned home from serving in World War II, they wed and began their life of over 50 years together until his passing in 2000.
She worked in the Hudson Public Schools, and was a warm and familiar face to students for many years.
She leaves behind her six children, Peter A. Manzo, Patrick Manzo, Stephen Manzo, Alphonse Manzo, Susan Manzo Keefe, and Michael Manzo and their spouses. Catherine was the heart of her family, and a source of strength, love, and compassion for all, including her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Catherine’s life Sunday, Oct. 14. There will be calling hours from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a service at the Tighe Hamilton chapel and interment at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
