Massachusetts Ballot Questions Information Forum to be held in ShrewsburyShrewsbury –  The League of Women Voters of Grafton/Shrewsbury is holding a 2018 State Ballot Question Forum on the three ballot questions which Massachusetts voters will be considering in the statewide election to be held Tuesday, Nov. 6.  The event is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St.  Please park across the street in the church or medical office parking lots.

BALLOT QUESTION 1 which limits Patient to Nurse Ratios will be presented by two local nurses providing the Vote Yes and Vote No positions.

BALLOT QUESTION 2,  proposes “A Commission on Limiting Election Spending and Corporate Rights” , and  BALLOT QUESTION 3 in regards to Transgender Anti-Discrimination, both will be presented by League of Women Voter members.

Questions will be allowed by the moderator.

Oct.  17 is also the last day to register to Vote for the November election. Register to vote on-line: www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr as well as in person at the Town Clerk’s office.
