I am writing to express my support for a new Beal School in Shrewsbury.
The current Beal school is too old and too small to serve the needs of the children of Shrewsbury. As proposed, the new school will serve many more students than the current school and the new school will be located on the south side of town which is growing rapidly. If voters approve the funding on Nov 6, the state will provide 34% of the funding — an offer that the state is not likely to make again.
It is time to replace Beal School. Vote your support on Nov 6.
