Westborough – The nonprofit Mark’s Northeastern Furniture Foundation has established a fundraiser to purchase mattresses and box springs for families in need.
Many families across New England cannot afford to meet their basic household furniture needs. Nearly half of those families without furniture are children.
Eagle Leasing, based in Southborough, has generously donated a 53-foot trailer where the purchased mattresses and box springs will be stored. Once the trailer is filled, the foundation will distribute the items to families in need throughout the Boston and Metrowest areas.
