Westborough – Donna E. Donovan, 51, of Westborough, passed away Oct. 18, 2018 at the Milford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas D. Donovan.
Born in Portland, Oregon, she is the daughter of Marjorie (Harris) Butcher and Donald Butcher of Westborough. She was educated in Westborough schools and was a 1984 graduate of Westborough High School. Donna earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Becker College and a Master’s in Education at Ashworth College.
Donna had a passion for caring for children and was employed as a director at Bright Horizons. She was a member of The Congregational Church of Westborough. Donna had an adventurous spirit enjoying skiing, sky diving and hiking. She worked as a Ski Patrol at Ski Ward, was a Beekeeper and loved her dog, Nitro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, Meghan Rose Donovan of Westborough; one sister, Dana S. Howell and her husband Robert of Portsmouth, N.H.; her mother-in-law, Rose Donovan of Westborough; her husband’s siblings, April DeWolfe and her husband David, John Donovan and his wife Debbie, Kathleen Uhlman and her husband Doug, Richard Donovan, Karol Camacho and her husband Mike, Dennis Donovan, and David Donovan and his wife Kristy; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, David Butcher.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., in The Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the Pickering and Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Monday, Oct. 22, from 4-7 p.m.
