Grafton – Grafton Land Trust will be holding its Annual Meeting and Dinner Friday, Nov. 2, from 5-9 p.m. at Highfields Golf & Country Club, 42 Magill Drive, Grafton. Members and non-members are invited. Guest speaker is Mark Blazis, a bird-banding researcher and columnist in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. He will present his field work in bird banding. He will also discuss his specialty, the role of neo-tropical migrant birds in spreading Lyme disease.
Additionally, the Grafton Land Trust will also be raffling off an 8-foot Aruba SS kayak. Visit www.graftonland.org to buy tickets for the dinner or raffle. Winner need not be present to win. All proceeds benefit the Grafton Land Trust.
