‘Annie’ to take the stage at Hudson High School

Hudson – Hudson High School’s fall musical, “Annie,” will be performed the weekend of Nov. 16-18 at the school, 69 Brigham St. Friday and Saturday’s shows will be held at 7 p.m.; the Sunday show will be at 2 p.m. There will be an encore performance Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m.

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie” is the fantastic story of the little orphan that charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930’s New York City. Annie (Lauren Lattanzi) is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage that is run by the cruel, Miss Hannigan (Maya Levine). Annie escapes and eventually finds a home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks (Pat Fortuna), his personal secretary, Grace Farrell (Celina Chaves and Alex MacDonald), and a lovable mutt named Sandy (Bentley).

Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 and all proceeds directly benefit the Hudson High School Drama Society. This show is rated PG and recommended for all ages. Call 978-567-6250, ext. 10131, for more information.
