Westborough – On Oct. 7, Vera (Kathy) (McGee) Riga Mooar and her husband Richard Mooar, of Westborough, received the long awaited news that Kathy’s son, William (Billy) Riga and his wife, Kim, of Hampden, Conn., are now the proud parents of twins: a girl, London Avery Riga and her brother, Bryce William Riga. The twins were born two minutes apart, respectively; London Avery was born two minutes before her baby brother, Bryce William. This is truly a happy occasion for the McGee Family. The twins were born just three days before their fifth great-grandfather Charles Ernest McGee’s 125th birthday, formerly of Westborough; he was born on October 10, 1893. The twins’ great-grandfather was the late Charles Edward (Buddy) McGee of Westborough. In years past, Mr. McGee, a former WWII Navy veteran, worked for Major Courtney at Courtney’s Diner on Milk Street. Mr. McGee was also a past commander at the American Legion Post #163 in Westborough and a Scoutmaster for Troop #1.
