Marlborough – Sandra (Wiles) Wallace, 76, died Oct. 31, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was the wife of the late Daniel Wallace, who died in 2006. They were married for 45 years.

She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Charles and Roberta (Marcotte) Wiles, and lived in the Metrowest area all of her life.

In the early age of computers, Mrs. Wallace worked as a computer programmer for different companies in the Metrowest area and went on to become a manager of local dry cleaners. She worked at Walmart in Hudson as a cashier and greeter for a few years.

She was a longtime member of the Connecting Point Church in Marlborough and did mission work in Costa Rica to help women in third world countries. She was a proud author of the book “Time Apart for you and God.”

She is survived by her sons, James Wallace and wife Chrystal Sutton Wallace of Sterling and Robert Wallace; her two brothers, Dennis and Robert “Bobby” Wiles; four grandchildren, Amanda Wallace Burke of Leominster, and Jessica, Hadyn and Jaylinn; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Donald E. Wallace, and daughter-in-law, Lynn Wallace-Chappelle of Clinton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home of Marlborough.
