McCombs graduates from Euro/NATO fighter pilot training

Marlborough – Kevin McCombs of Marlborough graduated from Euro/NATO fighter pilot training at Sheppard AFB in Texas in May. He was then sent to Klamath Falls, Oregon for F15C training.  He graduated from this training in August and was awarded TOP GUN of his class.

McCombs has been assigned to the 44th Fighter Squadron, Vampire Bats at Kadena AFB on Okinawa.

He is a graduate of Marlborough High School and was also a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol out of the Marlborough Airport during his middle school and high school years before attending Boston College.

McCombs graduated from Boston College, with a bachelor of arts in psychology, magna cum laude. He was also commissioned as a second lieutenant the United States Air Force, after completing four years in the Air Force ROTC program at Boston University.

He is the son of Mike and Carol McCombs of Marlborough.
